Talentpath Announces Advisory Partnership With Industry Leader, Steve Tolen From Stolen + Co.

We're proud to announce our strategic relationship with Sydney-based business leader Steve Tolen from Stolen + Co, a partnership to fast-track our growth agenda heading into 2024. Directors, Jody Fazldeen and Dionne Sharp will be supported by Tolen as he takes on the Head of Growth role to deliver plans to expand and amplify Talentpath's workforce solutions offerings. The growth momentum is validated on the back of several successful, high-profile large-scale recruitment campaigns across both State Governments and private enterprise. Steve's extensive career in recruitment, unmatched knowledge of the Sydney and Australian market and proven capability to scale recruitment businesses align seamlessly with our vision for the future.

‘We’ve seen our workforce solutions exceed expectations with trusted clients such as RACQ and Jobs Victoria. It’s a natural progression for us to elevate our offering to the next level, and working with Steve and Stolen + Co. is going to be a key driver for that.’ Says Dionne Sharp.

The dedication and groundwork in the 21/22 FY reporting period which kick-started an aggressive but considered 5-year strategic plan have seen us expand our service offering to include workforce solutions services across volume and large-scale projects. The delivery of multimillion-dollar workforce projects in the 22/23 FY which complemented the profit growth across our traditional specialist recruitment business, has positioned us well to deliver our growth agenda.

‘I have an experienced background in building businesses from the ground up and leading them to success. When I saw where Talentpath’s growth trajectory was heading, I saw synergy between our companies and values, and I wanted to be part of their growth journey. Talentpath has the recruitment foundations and team capability to excel, and I’m excited to see Stolen + Co. advise Talentpath in achieving some incredible results.’ Says Steve Tolen.

Jody Fazldeen adds ‘We’re working through our strategy and our priorities are in order. We started with industry-leading people initiatives that led us to the appointment of two people and performance-focused General Managers, Nichole Kain and Danielle Wilson. Highly experienced industry stalwarts, both appointments have given us the leadership depth to take us confidently into the next phase.’

The General Manager appointments have enabled the business to embed leadership structures and promote several Principal Recruitment Partners to a newly formed Senior Leadership Team.

Earlier this year we engaged HR Consulting firm, PeopleCo, to review and revamp our in-house HR initiatives. PeopleCo has implemented market-leading people strategies within the business including a staff wellness program, hybrid working model, extended super during parental leave, and pro-bono service policies for all Recruitment staff as part of a campaign to build out staff incentives throughout the 23/24 FY.

Director Dionne Sharp says the business is on track for a record 2024, ‘We have really strong foundations in place to support our growth agenda, we’re proud of the work we’ve done on the business. We know there is a real appetite across the Asia Pacific region for innovative whole-of-business workforce solutions and an immediate need for businesses to address their large-scale recruitment needs. We’ve built the capability and we’ve proven our delivery competency so we’re on the right path for strategic growth.’’
